ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – With the evident increase of an unhealthy lifestyle in the Virgin Islands (VI), a Virgin Islander has come up with a solution.

Realising the number of persons in the VI who lack nutrition and are obese, Dr. Jerry Smith introduces Nutritional and Dietary Supplement ‘Herbalife’, a product that is now being sold at his therapeutic place of business, ‘Therapy Works’.

Smith, owner of recently opened Therapy Works BVI in Road Town, has dedicated his services in helping the VI in any way he can.

To promote the product in the VI, Dr. Smith is conducting sessions dubbed ‘Healthy Breakfast’, where persons can get more familiar with the product, learn tips of being healthy, how to stay healthy and fast and natural ways to lose weight.

“The event seeks to educate persons on proper nutrition and proper meal choices. We introduce our guests to Herbalife, showcasing their products, its steps, how it works and end results of the product.”

He indicated that the gathering that was held on June 16, 2012 is the 2nd of many Healthy Breakfasts events to come. The first event was held on May 26, 2012.

In relation to the internationally recognised health and dietary supplement, Smith stated that it plays a huge role in the lives of persons who have problems with low energy, poor nutrition and low healing rates.

“These products offered by Herbalife will be instrumental in improving ones nutritional needs, speedy recovery and their response to treatment.”

The Doctor, who specialises in Physiotherapy, said that food is very prominent in the culture of the VI and the ingredients used to prepare those foods, majority of the time, are not healthy. He said the product encourages people to improve their health. “We have instances of high blood pressure, diabetes, kidney failure, high cholesterol, strokes, heart attacks and many more. If we can improve the conditions of living for Virgin Islanders then a lot of those conditions can be prevented.”

According to Smith, the product is very effective and has changed the lives of people living in different parts of the world. He said the good thing about the product is that it is not limited to persons who are recuperating from different conditions, but is also available for persons who want to lose weight and wish to change their dietary supplement(s) while at the same time giving their body the proper care it needs.

Dr. Smith told this news site that as a distributor of Herbalife, he has firsthand knowledge of how well the product works seeing that he too is a result of the product.

“I have personally lost 22 pounds in 2 weeks, using Herbalife, and there are people within our network who have lost over 100 pound by using the product as well. These persons are able to do this just by replacing bad foods with good nutrition,” Dr. Smith confessed.

What is Herbalife

Speaking to Wellness and Nutrition Coach for Herbalife, Ms.Jackie Ortiz, she said the product has multiple uses.

Ortiz stated that by using the product it will begin the journey of a healthier Virgin Islands.

“Many of us we don’t have good breakfasts and by promoting a healthy breakfast we show people that they would get more energy throughout the day and minimize health problems.”

According to Ortiz, Herbalife is the number one nutrition company in the world and a product that is being used by 70 million people in 81 countries world wide.

In the competitive field, why should someone choose Herbalife over the rest? “When compared to other dietary and nutritional supplements, Herbalife provides science to stand behind its progress and success,” Ms. Ortiz said.

She boasted that Herbalife is the only company of its kind to hold a Nobel Laureate in Medicine. “In order to be awarded a Nobel Laureate in medicine, you have to change humanity.”

She added that the successfulness of the company is a result of their products being based on plants and herbs. The products are not chemically manufactured products, but are organic.

Ms. Ortiz stated that the members and distributors of the product are generally persons within medical fields who have used and seen its results. “This being that in the event of promoting the product, it can really come from a place that knows the product is the best of its kind.”
