The BVI Health Services Authority is advising the public that the operating hours of the Road Town Clinic will be temporarily adjusted to facilitate renovation works in the Clinic Lobby at the Major Peebles Wing of the Dr D. Orlando Smith Hospital. Photo: Internet Source

According to an advisory issued by the department, effective Tuesday, September 8, through Tuesday, September 22, 2026, the clinic will operate from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM.

The BVIHSA urged patients and visitors to take note of this temporary change and plan their visits accordingly.

The BVI Health Services Authority further extended an apology for any inconvenience this adjustment may cause and thanked the public for its patience, understanding, and cooperation as improvements are made to enhance the facility and the quality of services provided.

$463K contract

It was in May 2026 that the contract to execute renovation works in the Clinic Lobby at the Major Peebles Wing of Dr D. Orlando Smith Hospital was awarded to Supreme Construction Engineering Management Services for $463,087.20.
