Myron Walwyn, former TB chairman

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – The BVI Tourist Board will soon have its full cadre of members and a new Chairman, Premier Ralph T O’Neal revealed in his Tourism Day speech on Tuesday, November 2, 2010, with a paper going to Cabinet next week on the appointments.

Hon. Premier, who also holds the Tourism Minister portfolio, added, “You [the public] will hear the announcement.”

Since the departure of its Chairman Myron Walywn and board members Ajit George and Sharon Flax-Mars this year, questions have been raised about the functionality of the Board.

However, Premier has assured Cabinet and the opposition that the remaining Board members have been working assiduously to keep TB’s agenda on track.

Not only that but he had the woman business on a public forum? That was unprofessonal…the guy really don’t have any style…dang

  3. me hot and hell says:

Tilford hurry up get your new chairman for I hope the publiuc remeber that this was the same Myron Walwyn man that had done give Janis Brathwaite her walking paper? Then he wanted to give Hasdass Ward hers two local girls! Now look Uncle Ralph give him his…..and getting a new Chairman….god do not sleep yall…run way? he better go sit he behind down.

  4. National says:

I was told that Walwyn said he resigned as Chairman because Ralph interferenced to much in the board’s business. This I find to be so funny because you all need to ask the Tourist Board Staff how terrible it was by the daily interence in little staff matters by the same Walwyn. He did the same darn thing he accused Ralph T of. If them kind of people win an election god send help as this type of nonsense will continue.

  5. Bad Taste says:

All these grass hoppers got one thing in common. OPPORTUNIST! I’m here today cause the grass look greener, tomorrow I’m gone. Gone are the days of perseverence and hard work. Walwyn if you really want to be a leader, you got to learn that as a captain, when things get rough, you have to remain forcus and steer your ship to safer grounds, not jump ship leaving the passengers behind. Lord have mercy on my little territory with these so called leaders……
