ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) is advising the public of parking restrictions around the Queen Elizabeth II National Park during this weekend’s National Parks Trust celebrations on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 25 – 27 November.
According to a press release from the RVIPF, no parking will be allowed along the Waterfront Drive or on the sidewalks from Fort Burt Hotel to the Ferry Terminal between 2pm and midnight. Any vehicle found parked on this portion of road during this period will be towed away by the Police at the owner expense.
The public is asked to use the parking lots in front of Pussers, Road Town; west of the Ferry Terminal Building and across the highway from Peebles Hospital. Only persons going to the Peebles Hospital will be allowed to use the parking lot directly in front of the hospital.
In order to avoid any traffic obstructionsc, shuttle taxes and buses are asked to use the designated drop off and pickup points in the parking area across the highway from Pebbles Hospital.
Police are asking for full cooperation from the motoring public during this time.

Anybody noticing that nothing happening at the Queen Elizabeth Park? They advertised a Gospel Night for Wednesday – didn’t happen. Jazz and R&B tonight – didn’t happen. Hmmm. I wonder what really going on…
