FirstBank treats Anegada students to a day on Tortola
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Students of the Claudia Creque Educational Centre (CCEC) on Anegada were treated to a day trip to Tortola recently, compliments FirstBank.
The 30 June excursion saw the students and teachers enjoying the dolphins at Dolphin Discovery and an afternoon at UPs Cineplex where they had lunch and watched a movie before heading back to Anegada.
FirstBank made the day possible by covering the cost of the ferry which transported the students and teachers from Anegada and back.
According to FirstBank, this is part of the bank’s continued support of the school under the adopt-a-school programme. Over the past several months, the bank has assisted the school by providing a new refrigerator, a copy machine and various prizes for top performing students. The bank has also been involved in various cleanup and repair projects at the school alongside the school’s PTA.
