ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Talented Virgin Islander musician on the rise Ritical will release his first single for his upcoming album ‘Love is the Greatest’ today January 9, 2012.
The song will be played on several radio stations including Zrod 103FM, ZBVI and on those in St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands.
The single is called “Wish You The Best” and is written by Ritical himself and produced by Young Bloodz of Virgin Gorda. A video for the song will also be done soon.
‘Wish You The Best’, Ritical told Virgin islands News Online in an exclusive interview, was inspired by experience and speaks about accepting certain things in life that cannot change and changing the things that can be changed and knowing the difference. It also speaks about love for fellow mankind despite the challenges that one may face in life.
“It is about wishing people the best regardless if it is a loved one or friend or even someone who did you wrong. It is all about love and you staying positive in the midst of all your adversities. It is what will bring you that inevitable blessing. Sometimes you can’t dictate your life, you can’t predict it so that when you see certain things take place you just have to be strong and stay focus on your goal and keeping that type of attitude of wishing people well regardless,” Ritical said.
The multi-talented musician will also appear on the Morning Ride show today with Paul “Gadiethz” Peart and persons are being encouraged to tune in.
But even while the focus will be on the single being released today, Ritical is particularly looking forward to the release of his first Album. “The biggest thing right now is my first album, which will be released in March. We are shooting for March 31st, 2012.”
According to Ritical, the album will see several collaborations with the majority of the videos being done in the Territory with shooting also to be done in St. Thomas and the United States.
Ritical rose to popularity when his single ‘Love is the Greatest’ hit airwaves in the Virgin Islands.
