Wrong turn!

CANE GARDEN BAY, Tortola, VI- An SUV was stuck on the side of the road on Cane Garden Bay Hill last night, June 3, 2017 after the driver turned too early while exiting Brewers Bay into Cane Garden Bay.

The car ended up in a drain at the side of the road.

No one was injured in the incident but the driver had to call for “roadside assistance" to get to their destination.

The vehicle was still in the drain late this morning, June 4, 2017.

According to reports, vehicles “falling in that drain” is a frequent occurrence.

    Amazing! This is the fault of the driver, the drain been like that forever. The roads and drains have never been in better shape since Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch been caretakers of MCW! Keep up the excellent work guys! Another 8 years for the D4 rep and his wonderful MCW/PWD staff.

    This is the second vehicle going down in this drain in less than two months. Some night ago on my way home a rental with some tourist got stuck in this same drain going to Cane Garden Bay, Luckily there were a pick-up truck with a rope trying to pull the rental out of this drain hole.
