ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - Police are still investigating an incident that occurred in front of a Road Town business establishment around Friday, May 18, 2018.

According to information obtained from police sources, the incident involved a Jamaican national identified as N. Facey, the same businesswoman who threw food at the staff of Yo Mama Kitchen. She was said to be disgruntled over her food order.

The May 18, 2018 incident between her and a woman identified as H. Brewley, who many have described as “unstable”, occurred after Ms Facey accused the women of interfering with her clients.

Ms Facey also claimed that the lady, Ms Brewley, attacked her and “pop off her expensive bracelet” purchased in Europe. She said the lady [Ms Brewley] was asking her clients for food and scratched her in her face.

Who is at fault?

She held the alleged mentally unstable Ms Brewley on the ground for almost 20 minutes in a foot choke hold until the police were called. Despite what Ms Brewley reportedly did, many residents condemned the treatment meted out to her.

There was also concern that Ms Brewley was taken advantage of because of her alleged “mental state.”

Both ladies made a hospital visit after the confrontation.

Police are still investigating the incident.

Lady, I will pay your air fare to get the H%ll out of Tortola. You are not wanted in this Country. You wore out your welcome. You are nothing but problems. Go back to where you came from with your low class ghetto behavior/ways. Never had it this good until you set foot in Tortola.

With evidence of the video of her with her foot in the lady's neck, they really need to investigate? Whether the mental unstable lady started problem first, the point of the matter is that is why she was diagnosed mentally unstable. So because she is mentally unstable that gives one the right to detain someone in that manner? Even the police don't detain the most violent criminal that way. It woulda been better to hold her and tie her hands behind her back than press her foot in the lady windpipe like what that beast that her mother pissed out did.

Holding your foot on someone’s neck for 20 minutes is ridiculous. She could have cut off her air supply and killed her, and if it was her jugular vein, she could have stopped the flow of blood going through that artery. So you can almost kill someone over a piece of metal braclet? Whatever her problem is, she is too violent and should be punished accordingly.
    • l (30/05/2018, 08:53) Like (12) Dislike (6) Reply
The jugular vein is not an artery. It's a vein. The carotid artery is the one in the neck that services the brain. That is where you feel the pulse.

I saw the video on FB and was disgusted just looking at it. No one; absolutely no one deserves to be treated like that. The situation could have been handled differently. Really disgusting behavior.

Her behavior speak volumes. She got issues! Ms Brewley family should get a lawyer and bring a civil suit against her. That is just sickening.

Repeat offender. Something has to be done, but so many repeat offenders get to stay. On the other hand, why did it take 20 minutes for police to arrive?
