Woman collapses & dies in Road Town

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - An employee of Venetta's Day Care and Early Learning Centre in Lower Estate reportedly collapsed and died yesterday Friday December 2, 2011, sources have informed Virgin Islands News Online.

The incident reportedly occurred during the morning hours. According to information from Management of Venetta’s Day Care Centre, she was not on the job on the day of the incident.

The woman was taken to Peebles Hospital where it was confirmed that she had died.

    i must say that Vanetta's day care is one of the better facilities in the BVI.. Hope it continues on its success...sorry that the teacher was not at work that day and could not say goodbye and died at home....god bless

      She died at the hospital. That is in Road Towm. And people, please be sensitive to Mary's family and close friends who are in grief at this time. Her passing was as sudden as it comes. I admonish you to use the blogs to offer your prayers and support for her family. If u don't have anything positive to say, keep your comments to yourselves. Do not come on these sites with your insensitive comments, lest you find yourselves suffering grief and then have to experience the same insensitive behaviour that you once dished out.

    May God be with her family... My son attended Venetta's and he loved "my teacher Mary" as he called her.... wow I am in shock ... I seldom read the online media and only now I've learn of her death... wow this is sad...
