ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Big wins for the Seventh Day Adventist School, First Impressions and Althea Scatliffe Schools highlighted the first week of action in the BVIFA/BDO Primary School League.

On Monday February 10, 2014 in the opening U9 fixture, Cedar Green beat the Seventh Day Adventists 2-0 with both goals coming from Gethin Jones in the second half. Cedar White then scored four first half goals against Alexandrina Maduro School to secure victory. Alex Fountain scored in the 2nd and 10th minutes, Darci Reich in the 7th and Ryan Lettsome in the 12th. AMPS put up a much better, more organized performance in the second half, but the damage was done.

In the U7 Division First Impressions Orange and Cornerstone battled to a 1-1 draw with Christian Vanterpools 7th minute opener for the Oranges cancelled out by Kirsha Nisbett in the 16th minute.

On Tuesday Begrdao Flax ran out comfortable 4-0 winners against Cedar in the U7 bracket with first half goals from Amari Fannis and Joel Mars, which were then matched by second half goals from Emanuel Ettiene and Jayah Hodge.

The Seventh Day Adventists recorded the biggest win of the campaign as they routed First Impressions (Grey) 8-0 on goals from Kemano Maduro, who scored five and three from Alex Leonard.

Robinson O’Neal were thankful for a 7th minute strike by Deshaun Richardson to seal a 1-0 win over Leonora Delville and this season’s first U9 Division hat trick was then scored by Jalen Prentice, with goals in the 6th, 19th, 22nd and 25th minutes to tally four goals as First Impressions smashed Rainbow for 7 unanswered scores. Nathan Adams netted a brace and Miles Creque from the penalty spot rounded out the scoring.

On Wednesday Althea Scatliffe raced to a 7-0 win over a combined Agape/ Ebenezer Thomas side in the U9’s with a hat trick from Allen Martin, a brace by DeAndre Rogers and one from Andre Smickle.

On Thursday Johari Lacey netted a hat trick for Althea Scatliffe U7’s in a 5-0 win over Enis Scatliffe Green. He scored in the 1st, 8th and 12th minutes with Savianna Joseph and Jonte Peters scoring the other goals.

Gethin Jones scored his third goal of the week during Cedar 2-1 win over Pelican Gate in the U9 Division after Requan Garraway of Pelican Gate took less than a minute to cancel out Arzani Callwood’s 16th minute opener.

And to round out the first week of matches Rasheem Smith netted twice to hand Leonora Delville a 2-0 victory over Enid Scatliffe Red.

      its a bit late most if not all teams are full even with most of them have 2 teams maybe they can play next year
