Today we brag about Barack being the first Black US President but we fail to understand that as ‘Blacks’, we still contribute to the negative racism of Self… In other words by making this our mantra we accept racial implications that one drop of African Blood lowers (rather that elevates) the recipient from being White to Black or, as Slave Masters decreed, to be less than Human.

Unfortunately, this same self-defeating mentality serves to embolden Racist Conservatives at Home & Abroad into regarding a ‘black Barack’ as lacking the white Rights to be President of the USA… This attack on Human Rights is even exhibited by the US Supreme Court Rulings that effectively impede or handicap the Civil & Voting Rights achieved just 50-years ago.

Such actions threaten the dignity of every Slave Descendant but what should terrify us is knowing that one of our own, Justice Thomas - who benefitted from these Civil Rights - was most vocal in denying these same Rights to other Blacks… Because of Persons like him (& maybe yourselves) even as Pages turn & Times change we remain our own worst enemies. 

The more we expect Fairness & Justice from those in Positions of Authority, the more we find them willing to crucify Brothers & Sisters for contempt of their Pride even as they ignore their own contempt for Truth… It means nothing to them that, while Truth is constant for one & all; Courts, Religions & Politics can only rule by placing ‘verdict of one above opinions of all others.

Replacing our Bread & Fish with their Stones & Serpents:

In the Cycle of things Descendants of Slaves, locally & internationally, remain the main Casualties of misguided interpretations & the enforcement of Bad Laws… Here at Home, Policies & Laws such as the Labour Code, National Health Insurance Scheme & Cybercrime Act clearly demonstrate an utter lack of regards for the hardships & sufferings for our People.

No wonder some ask, if the proposed National Health Insurance Scheme is as bad as I claim then why would our Leaders pass such a Law?... Firstly, as independent thinkers we all have the right to see things differently… Although I doubt the original Draft of the Law has been significantly improved, it is only fair for you to check out the Document before jumping to hasty conclusions;

After all, we exist in a Capitalist World where success is measured by Corruption & Greed or the Hunger & Thirst for Money so my position may be quite difficult to understand, especially when I am constantly reminded how much my Company will benefit from this NHIS… Somehow no one seems the least bit concerned about how much long-term harm this could do to our People.

Too many make the excuse of comparing NHIS to Obama Care for, while both started out with the grand idea of Governments becoming Insurance Companies, they are quite different now… Besides, while the US has the ability to print money at will, we are a struggling Economy with neither the Resources nor ability to print US Dollar Bills or even local Toilet Paper.

Furthermore, even with all her Resources & Power America realized that this version of Obama Care would not be practical or sustainable and actually posed a hidden Taxation risk to their suffering Labour Based Economy… As a result, their only hope was the present unpopular System of recruiting Patients only to turn them over to established Insurance Companies.

Health Care is crucial and if our People had the Financial ability or our Country had the required Resources to perform as an Insurance Company, I could support the Scheme… However, like Banks, Insurance Companies require large surpluses of Liquid Cash and seem to specialize in scheming on how much of our Money they take in compared to how very little they let out. 

The Price of Mistakes & the Costs of Mismanagement:

However, our People are broke and the BVIHSA & NHIS appear designed to put more Public Funds at the disposal of Leaders to cover their mistakes & mismanagement… Consequently, it should surprise no one when Governments use Public Funds to sell Bad Laws & Policies - it cost them nothing to make us push their Elephants uphill and the more they fail, the harder we push.

Reasoning this potential for failure requires no Brain Surgery when: #1.. The gathering of NHIS Funds is based on the Social Security System which Headlines constantly remind us range from extremely challenging to downright impossible - & - #2.. Persons receiving their Social Security Retirement Benefits have realized that it falls far below the Minimum Wage or Poverty Level.

Threats of imprisonment for nonpayment offer no solution since the more ‘able bodied’ Youth are imprisoned the less Workers, Tax Payers Funding sources remain available… We sustain this situation by electing & selecting Leaders who appear to hate us and regard us as Empty Robots; used to elect them as our Masters dedicated - not to us but - serving as Puppets of the Rich.

Our reward is to lose the Power of Self to the Promises of Pittance as the Rich boast of their ability to buy the Parties they want & Governments they desire… I have always refused to be For Sale and I would like to believe that there is nothing wrong with Parties that we the People cannot fix – After all this is the age of Information where the Power of choice rests in our Hands.

Changes have made it easy – Fifty years ago we never left home or attended School until at least 5-years old and most of us never saw Computers before we were well over 40-years… Today our Children’s Children attend Nursery Schools before they can walk and by 5-years old they have Smartphones & I-pads… It would be unfair to block their Progress by failing to make our own.
