Wilbert Pickering remanded for Burglary

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- A Parham Town man, who is no stranger to Her Majesty’s Prison at Balsam Ghut, was remanded for Burglary recently.

According to the Arrest Blotter released by the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) for the period, September 8 to 14, 2019, Mr Wilbert Pickering, 40, was arrested and charged on September 9, 2019 at 9:34pm for Burglary.

Police said Pickering appeared before the Magistrate’s Court and was remanded to her Majesty’s Prison.

Pickering has been arrested several times in the past for burglary as well as drug offences.

THEFT

  1. On 12-09-19 at 1718hrs, Police arrested and charged Octavio Turnbull Jr., 31 of Sea Cow’s Bay for Theft. He was granted bail in the amount of $50,000 with one signed surety to appear before the Magistrate’s Court on 4-1119 at 0900hrs.
  2. On 13-09-19 at 1205hrs, Police arrested and charged Dexter Donovan, 33 of Great Harbour, Jost Van Dyke for Theft. He was granted bail in the amount of $5,000 with one signed surety to appear before the Magistrate’s Court on 29-10-19 at 0900hrs.
  3. On 14-09-19 at 1255hrs, Police arrested and charged Annya Graham, 27 of Fat Hog’s Bay for Theft. She was granted bail in the amount of $10,000 with one signed surety to appear before the Magistrate’s Court on 13-11-19 at 0900hrs.

ASSAULT OCCASIONING ACTUAL BODILY HARM

  1. On 9-9-19 at 1800hrs, Police arrested and charged Ryan Robin, 29 of The Valley, Virgin Gorda for Assault Occasioning Actual Bodily Harm. He was granted Bail in the amount of $5,000 with one signed surety to appear before the Magistrate’s Court on 6-11-19 at 0900hrs.
  2. On 13-09-19 at 1257, Police arrested and charged Malik Maduro, a 23 year old prisoner at Her Majesty’s Prison for Assault Occasioning Actual Bodily Harm and Possession of a Controlled Drug.

OBSTRUCTING POLICE

On 14-9-19 at 1255hrs, Police arrested and charged Harold Graham, 40 of Long Swamp for Obstructing Police in the Lawful Execution of Duty, Reckless Driving and Disorderly Conduct. He was granted bail in the amount of $5,000 with one signed surety to appear before the Magistrate’s Court on 13-11-19 at 0900hrs.

HANDLING STOLEN GOODS

On 12-9-19 at 1730hrs, Police arrested and charged Buney Chinnery, 18 of Great Harbour, Jost Van Dyke for Handling Stolen Goods. He was granted bail in the amount of $5,000 with one signed surety to appear before the Magistrate’s Court on 29-10-19 at 0900hrs.

DRIVING UNLICENSED AND UNINSURED VEHICLE

On 15-9-19 at 0124hrs, Police arrested and charged Avery Malone of Mount Healthy for Driving an Unlicensed and Uninsured Vehicle, Driving Without a Rear Identification Plate and Transporting Unsecured Material. He was granted bail in the amount of $10,000 with one signed surety to appear before the Magistrate’s Court on 22-10-19 at 0900hrs.
