ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) is seeking the public’s assistance to solve three murders that occurred in July of 2008.

32 year old local male Lovell Parker of Scatliffe Alley was shot and killed at Scatliffe Alley in Road Town, Tortola on July 6, 2008.

Local male Aaron Erickson aka “Sonny” of West End and Vincentian National Winston Olliverre, also of West End, were both shot and killed outside Big Ben’s Supermarket at West End on July 16, 2008.

Lovell Parker

The details into the shooting of Lovell parker, according to witnesses are that around 11:00pm, several patrons were at Rosie’s bar in Scatliffe Alley when several gunshots were heard immediately outside the bar.

All the patrons at the bar immediately took cover and when the shooting subsided, they advanced outside to make observations. There they observed the victim still conscious lying in a pool of blood outside his parked truck having sustained numerous gunshots about his body. The victim was subsequently rushed to the then Peebles Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

According to the RVIPF, this year marks the twelve-year anniversary of the incident and no one is yet to be identified as the perpetrator for this crime.

“Detectives of the said unit have not given up on the investigation and is still hopeful that members of the community may have crucial information to assist in identifying those responsible for this senseless murder to bring some closure to the grieving families.”

‘An alright boy & an excellent Softball player’

The grieving Stepfather of the victim, local business man Frederick Martin aka “Shagga Dog” was interviewed and he made these few remarks.

“Lovell was like a son to me because he has been around me since he was little boy. He was an alright boy and was an excellent Softball player. It doesn’t matter what the circumstances are, I don’t think anyone should have to die like that. I am asking anyone with information out there to please call the police and give them the information to bring Lovell’s murderer to justice.”

Aaron Erickson & Winston Olliverre

The details into the shooting of Erickson and Olliverre, according to witnesses are that at around 11:20pm both males were outside the Big Ben’s Supermarket; Aaron was on the steps, in the company of his young child and a couple of other men, whilst Winston was seated inside Aaron’s parked vehicle, when an unknown, lone, masked gunman approached the supermarket and first opened fire upon Aaron.
The gunman then got into the driver’s seat of Aarons truck and then fired upon Winston who was still seated in passenger seat of the vehicle as he lacked complete mobility in his legs because of an ailment.
The gun man having shot Winston pushed him out of Aaron’s truck and fled the scene in said vehicle in an Easterly direction. The vehicle was later found abandoned in the vicinity of Cox Heath.

Both males succumbed to their injuries on the scene.

Still waiting.for the murder of the young Penn Lawyer. Still waiting for the.missing Turnbull man. Still waiting for young child in that incident.at West End and how much more.. Unfortunately The Community doesn't appear to have any confidence in the. Police Force. The demeanor, attitude and actions of.some has stained the Force.

That's Is true....there's no confidence in the police because you don't know who to trust. Many of us still have hope that the killers for all the murders WILL BE BROUGHT TO JUSTICE. We continue to remember Trinity and all the other victims.

Becareful which police you can talk too. Them non local cops working for the drug man them and give them insider information, tactics and strategies. Don't trust them non local police. I've heard them refer to Bvi islanders as dump, stupid, uneducated, incestuous people. They laugh at you when call them to perform the duties of a police. Select who you want to handle your report. We have the right. All a dem non locals need go home and we Bvi islanders will deal with our own shit. The police force is not ayo own.
