Wheatley calls for peace & love to move country forward!
Mr. Wheatley is the host of ‘Speak out BVI’ that aired last evening May 29, 2012.
The Talk Show host stated that for a country to move forward, togetherness and considering the wellbeing of the lives of others is very important.
In giving examples, he drew an image of different scenarios where individuals are helping and giving to others, and how great of an effect the outcome is.
A caller on the show stated that love is important and is indeed needed.The female caller said for love to reign over communities in the Virgin Islands, one must first love themselves before loving someone else.
In quoting the bible she stated that the commandments read that a man should love God and one should love their neighbours as they love themselves.
“To demonstrate love you first have to love yourself in order to give love.”
Wheatley stated that love is important and love conquers all. He added that if someone doesn’t save the Territory for the next generation then the country will go under.
