Weather woes continue: Flash Flood warning in effect today, November 14, 2018
This according to a public missive issued by the Department of Disaster Management (DDM) which noted that a Flash Flood Watch means that moderate to major flooding is possible but not imminent in the watch area.
DDM said that the Antigua and Barbuda Meteorological Services states that presence of a persistent trough and lingering moisture and instability from a tropical wave will continue to generate cloudiness with showers across the Islands today.
The Antigua and Barbuda Meteorological Services has also indicated the possibility of rainfall total for the forecast period is 15 to 25 mm or 0.6 to one inch.
The Met Service also expects high chance of showers with a moderate chance of showers thunderstorms tonight.
Winds are from the East southeast at 22 to 33 km/h or 12 to 18 knots and seas are in the range of 7 feet.
A small craft advisory is also in effect for the VI.
