Virgin Islands News Online Launches E-mail News Alerts

Virgin Islands News Online has been in operation for two years now and has launched a series of new features, now with its latest being the email alerts for readers.
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - Known to be the most innovative, creative and cutting edge online news site in the Territory, Virgin Islands News Online today July 9, 2012 announced the launching of yet another news service, the E-mail alerts feature.

This is where it’s over 7,000 readers per day can send us their E-mail addresses and when there is a breaking news story or any important news item, it will be sent to them automatically to the respective E-mail addresses.

Virgin Islands News Online is currently running an advert on its news site where readers can click on the "Sign Up Here" tag and send us their E-mail addresses. More than one E-mail address can be sent from persons wishing to receive our breaking news alerts.

John E. Leonard, General Manager and Marketing Executive of Advance Marking and Professional Services, the parent company of Virgin Islands News Online said, “This is yet another feature to keep our readers up-to date on all breaking news items as we appreciate persons are very busy and now require news sometime on the go… as it happens”.

A few months ago, this news site launched its popular mobile site feature where our readers can access the site from any mobile or hand held device and they have the ability to also send comments/blogs through the mobile site.

Also in March of 2012, Virgin Islands News Online turned 2 years, since it first launched in 2010. The news site has up-graded its logo to reflect its two years in operation.

Virgin Islands News Online carries a variety of local, regional and international news and remains the undisputed online news leader in sports coverage. Mr. Leonard said in the coming months, the news site will be launching another feature to ensure readers have easy access and the online news site keeps its number one spot in the online news competitive business.
