GREENLAND, Tortola, VI - The Super Six stage of the 2014 Digicel Twenty/20 Cricket Tournament continued on Sunday, April 6 at the Greenland Recreation Ground and saw defending champs, Vincy defeat Jamrock by 164 runs and Vikings victorious by 103 runs over New Testament Church of God (NTCOG).

In the day's first game, Vincy coming off their miraculous victory against Cavaliers a week earlier, won the toss and elected to bat first. They posted 222 for 5 from their allotted 20 overs.

In the second game of the day, Vikings won the toss and elected to bat first. They started strong and lost their way towards the end of the inning, posting 273 for 9 at the end of the 20 overs.

Newly appointed captain, Richard Fredericks, led the charge with 147, the highest individual total thus far in the Super Six Stage. He struck 7 sixes and 18 fours before he was removed by Cameron Williams with the score on 172.

Williams, who started the game wicket-keeping, removed Jamal Mickel and Jnique Mingo with successive deliveries to claim the first hat-trick of the 2014 season. In the same over, he claimed his fourth wicket when Y. Shivpra was stumped by Jeffery ‘Zambi’ Demming.

Vikings' middle order provided support to the total with the newly acquired, Kevin Joseph adding 28 runs; V. Manesar, 26 runs; and Vaden Walker, 27 runs.
