SPANISH TOWN, Virgin Gorda, VI – “They need a little polishing here and there but we will give them a chance for them to get sharper but overall they sound really good, not the usual bang-a-lang, they had some good reggae.” That’s according to Mr Renold Vanterpool, one of the many persons at the closing night of Christmas in Spanish Town, Virgin Gorda on December 14, 2013.

The launch of the newest band in the Virgin Islands, Caution, seemed to have been the cream de la crème of the 14th annual Christmas in Spanish Town as persons turned out in their numbers and for the greater part they were pleasantly surprised.

The new band, according to its Manager Ms Sasha D. A. Flax, was formed just about three to four months ago and while they have been tweeting at some smaller events and occasions, appearing at the Christmas in Spanish Town celebrations was their biggest thus far.

Caution band was officially launched last night December 14, 2013.

While there were pockets of persons throughout the earlier stage of the night, the crowd took an immediate turn with a massive swell to the stage front as the new band took up their position. The main questions asked by curious patrons were, “Where they from?” and “Who are they?”

According to Ms Flax, the members are from Tortola and they are a group of talented young people mixed with a few older, more seasoned persons in the music industry. The group, she said, has the commitment and the passion for music that will take them far.

“Yes, they are fresh on the block but they are a really good group that has places to go,” added Ms Flax with confidence.

The new band brought the curtains down on this year’s Christmas in Spanish Town in Virgin Gorda.
