Although I applaud the job that these guys are doing keeping us safe, I do believe they are more in love with headlines like these. The fact that we don't have that much cases but at the same time making it more difficult for persons to feed thier families by killing the economy in the process. By now we are more educated about covid so we have to learn to live with.

Just proves ... serious reliability issue with lab results with false positive.

Move to rapid testing. Yes they have their own reliability issues but you can administer multiple tests of said test for much less time and money than full pcr test.

Do the full test when multiple rapid fails , do it for none vaccinated people.

But pcr test coming from abroad, with antibody tests should be treated with better respect as the meaning of those false positive... a ruined vaccination for tourists coming in

I am sure the family of the lady that died last year will take comfort from your assertion that no one will die. The amount of latent diabetes and heart conditions that are likely kicking around here along with a reluctance to vaccinate means that some people could be in for a world of pain. The only reason so many here are blasé about it is because the government have done a solid job at keeping it out and we haven't had to witness the same difficulties that many other nations have suffered. 30,000 people here and 8 ICU beds...

PCR rest was never designed for what they’re using it for so we’ll always have “cases”. Tired of the games
