ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- With September 6 being a date in the Virgin Islands that needs no reminders, there is actual anticipation of that date for a more pleasant reason, at least for local football fans.

The [British] Virgin Islands Senior Football Team will begin its campaign in the CONCACAF Nations League against Bonaire on September 6, 2019.

The match will be played at the Ergilio Hato Stadium in Willemstad, Curacao from 3:00 pm.

The Virgin Islands has been grouped with Bonaire and Bahamas in group B of League C. The first match against Bahamas is on September 9, 2019 at the Thomas Robinson Stadium in Nassau, Bahamas.

The 2019–20 CONCACAF Nations League will be the inaugural season of the CONCACAF Nations League, an international association football competition involving the men's national teams of the 41 member associations of CONCACAF.
