Vehicle overturns on Fort Hill

FORT HILL, Tortola, VI- Persons were lucky to escape serious injuries when a vehicle overturned on Fort Hill last night, July 8, 2016.

According to reports, the vehicle which overturned also made contact with another vehicle.

It is not clear what led to the driver losing control of his motor vehicle. It is also not clear if anyone was taken to hospital.

Chief Fire Officer Zebalon A. McLean confirmed that Virgin Islands Fire and Rescue Officers were called to an accident scene on Fort Hill where a vehicle overturned but said he did not have all the details.

“There were no fatalities,” Mr Mclean added.
