Vehicle falls off road @ Horse Path; One injured

HORSE PATH, Tortola, VI- At least one person was taken to Dr D. Orlando Smith Hospital after a vehicle fell off a road at Horse Path sometime around 10:30pm, July 25, 2020.

According to reports reaching Virgin Islands News Online, the injured person, said to be an employee of the BVI Electricity Corporation (BVIEC), was thrown out of the vehicle and it took some 30 minutes for EMTs, police and public spirited persons to bring them up a short incline.

It is unclear how the vehicle managed to fall off the road, some 10 feet down.

It is also unclear the extent of the person's injury.
