CANE GARDEN BAY, Tortola, VI - A sports utility vehicle burst into flames near the junction of the roads leading to Cane Garden Bay and Brewer's Bay today, May 30, 2015.

Information reaching this news site confirmed that both Police and Fire Service personnel were on the scene maintaining the flow of traffic and fighting the blaze respectively.

Speaking to this news site, Fire Chief Zebalon A. McLean confirmed the reports of the fire but at the time could not provide more details. The incident occurred sometime around 2:00 pm today.

We will provide more information as it becomes available.

    That's the 2nd vehicle/ SUV in a month around that area. The 1st one finally got move this week after few weeks on the road burnt out. Quite frightening!
