What tamrind, bundled together, leather belt, 2*4, wet clothes, the rubber that hold the screen in its frame whipping we got when we were growing up and we dare not say we going to go police, must less actually go for that would resulted in more whippings. Yet, look who we are today ... good parents and good leaders.

And if we got disciplined in school by teachers, we were sure to get a double portion if our parents were informed.

    A different generation all together.

There is a thin line between @$$ whooping and abuse. I didn't see you put machete as a whooper of choice. The violence has to stop otherwise the cycle will not be broken.

She hit her with the flat side of the cutlass. And guess what, parents of our day, did the same thing. Yes, that’s right, use cutlass too ...

Not in agreement in discipline of a child with a machete. However, children nowadays ain’t making sport to call police on their parents. What a sad state of affairs!
