US woman dies suddenly – Police PRO

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - Police Public Relations Officer Ms Diane Drayton today May 1, 2014 confirmed the sudden death of a 55 year old female from the United States.

“Investigations indicate that she developed problems while in the water at the Indians yesterday afternoon around 3pm,” said Drayton speaking to Virgin Islands News Online. Drayton confirmed the woman's name as being Elizabeth Potter.

“She was (yesterday) transported to Peebles Hospital where she was pronounced dead. Cause of death is to be determined,” Drayton said.

      There is nothing wrong with the water Strupps. People get heart attacks, cannot swim, get exhausted in the water, used to a swimming pool and the pull of the sea is too strong on their heart, etc etc etc. Stop blaming things on the water, this is just common sense!

    She was a strong ocean swimmer. Liz swam the ocean for a few miles everyday. This was a shock, tragedy and tremendous loss for all who knew and loved her. Elizabeth Potter Ulrich will be dearly missed.

    This comes as such a shock - I knew Elizabeth in Santa Barbara, and she loved the ocean very much. It's hard to believe it took her life in this way.
