US Citizen pleads guilty to ganja possession in VI
This, according to the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force, in its Arrest Blotter for January 6, 2019 to January 19, 2019, issued today January 23, 2019.
According to the RVIPF’s Arrest Blotter, Travis Quinton Sargillo, 42, of Colorado, USA, was arrested and charged on Wednesday 16, 2019.
USVI Man
Sargillo plead guilty when appeared before Magistrate’s Court, and was fined.
Nigel Victor, 19 was also last Friday, January 18, 2019, was also arrested and charged for Unlawful Possession of Cannabis.
He was granted bail in the sum of $5,000 with one surety and is to appear before Magistrate’s Court March 1, 2019.
Meanwhile a United States Virgin Islands (USVI) native, was on January 8, 2019, arrested and charged for Occasioning Actual Bodily Harm.
The RVIPF has since identified the man as Shakeem Dore, 23, a native of USVI, residing in Carrot Bay, Tortola.
Burglarly
Two men were also arrested and charged by RVIPF ranks over burglary related charges.
According to a copy of the Arrest Blotter issued by RVIPF, Police arrested and charged Eric Nibbs, 45, of Belle Vue for the offences of Burglary, Being Armed with an Offensive Weapon and Common Assault.
The incident occurred on January 26, 2019, last and Nibbs was granted bail a sum of $10,000 for his later appearance before Magistrate’s Court.
Police on January 18, 2019 also arrested and charged Khori Prince, 20, for Burglary.
Teen's Joyride
The RVIPF has also reported that on January 13, 2019, Police arrested and charged Toby McCullough, 20, of Sea Cows Bay for Driving while Under the Influence of Alcohol.
He was granted bail in the sum of $2,500 signed with one surety to appear before Magistrate’s Court on March 1, 2019.
Meanwhile on January 16, 2019, Police arrested and charged Leron Jones, 20, and two 16-year-old males, all of Purcell Estate for Taking Conveyance without Authority (taking a vehicle without permission).
An additional charge of Driving without a Driver’s Licence was laid against Jones, according to the RVIPF. They were granted bail in the sum of $3,000 signed with surety to appear in Magistrate’s Court February 28, 2019.
