UPDATE: Two hospitalized from Pockwood Pond accident
Ms Daniels said her nine year old son Jekhalibbah S. A. Williams and her husband Aubrey S. Daniels, a citizen of the United States, are both slowly recovering from injuries they suffered in the accident.
She said that the nine year old's injuries were to the extent that he was not responding but today he is off the ventilator and is speaking though in intense pain.
Mr Daniels is said to have suffered some amount of chest injuries which still have him in severe pains. "But he is going to be ok. I glad my son is talking now," said the woman in an obviously emotional state.
She recalled the ordeal of yesterday afternoon July 13, 2014 as one that could have been avoided had leaders heeded her many cries for help. "I just remember hearing screaming, my children were screaming, I was just seeing bushes going in a circle till the jeep came to a stop and my husband was bawling for his chest,” she recalled.
She said another of her sons was left trapped in the vehicle and she along with swiftly responding neighbours who resided in the building close to where the vehicle landed assisted in getting the child out. These included Mr Cleo Foster Williams, his son Craig Williams and several others.
"My baby (11 months old) got pitch out and the others too. I just saw a woman with my baby in her hands and others helping me and the others," she recalled.
Mrs Daniels said she blames the mossy road which has sewage constantly flowing down for yesterday’s accident. She said very often they would slipped on the mossy road causing them to hurt themselves. "The road full of filth… we usually fall very often on that road and no one seems to care,” said the woman.
She went on to explain that the general environment in which she lives is one that's not fit for human habitation. "There is mold everywhere in the apartment, rats, flies, roaches… the surrounding is a mess. And there are others living in the very building suffering the same fate. "But I can't speak for them I can only speak for myself,” she added.
Mrs Daniels said that she has been constantly at the doors of persons in authority to help her get herself and children a healthier environment but her cries have been falling on deaf ears.
"The landlord wants me out, they keep giving me notice to move but nobody wants to rent me their apartment because I have so many children. No one seems to care."
As for the road she said had there been a guard rail in place and the sewage issues dealt with yesterday's accident which could have claimed lives could have been avoided.

In the mean time get rid of that vodoo doll because a dark cloud is over the BVI and you don't know who is watching your back.
Give your children a lime bathe when you get out of the hospital.
No credit to LIME the phone company and you don't need to go to any church offering a new life born again person because you life has already begun ages ago and someone want to end it.
Too many churches and so much evil.
I don't know the family but I wish a speedy recovery. Read the bible and you will see that there is reference related to what omg is saying which can be true.
Lots of guard rails in some really bad location should be in place...
JUST ANOTHER JACK @SS WHO NEEDS TO LOOK IN THE MIRROR & U WILL SEE STUPID.
Let me take NDP out the picture who you all stupid people believe cause all the problems happening now.
Not even Rastafari could stop NDP! Nuff respect!
Please let this be a lesson to all those others who travel without seatbelts.
Ucly to not
And as far as complaining that she cant find anywhere else to rent as she has so many children I think she needs to look at herself for that issue. If you cant afford to look after so many kids stop having them.
we all should learn form this.
TEN people in one apt equals JUNK which will breed rats, roaches and all kinda crap.
I wasn’t renting either
