ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - Digicel’s Marketing Public Relations Executive Ms Jasmine A. Perez has declared today August 21, 2014 ‘D Day’ for their customers who would have made good of the company’s telecommunications services especially during the summer promotion.

“Tomorrow however if you have not been pulled yet you still have a chance to be pulled. There will be three persons pulled tomorrow (today) during the finals,” she said yesterday August 20, 2014 after two Digicel babies assisted in the random selection of four scratch tickets.

This was done as the semi-final step to the company releasing a brand new Mitsubishi vehicle to a lucky customer this evening. The two children pulled the name from a mini pool in the presence of Digicel staff and a sizable number of customers who were eager to find out if they were going to be among the lucky twelve to enter the car challenge.

That pool of customers is expected to be multiplied greatly today. This will see an addition to the sponsors’ pool as NAGICO Insurances has stepped to offer free insurance to the winner of the car this time around.

The summer promotion of 2013 was the first time the mobile telecommunication company took the giant step of giving away a car. That year the onus was on the winner to take care of their insurance issues.

Ms Perez said that while there will be one lucky winner out of the twelve finalists, all of them will be awarded prizes of worth which include smartphones.

At least let them stand on the outside and pick from outside that blown up tub. Look at all those papers to the back of those children. Whose bright idea was that?

How about getting a system that works so if I walk in to pay my bill I am not there for 2 hours. Worst part of every month is going to Digicel. I go into Lime to pay my bill and I am in there no longer than 5 minutes.

Who came up with that stupid way in which to draw names? Why couldn't all the names be placed in a spinning barrel and everyone be given a chance to win
