I am very pleased with the calibre of show andnto put something of that standard askbfor a lot of team work. Being in pageantry or many years I've seen a lot and now you will think people or judges in that light understands what certain segments mean. These contestants though all did well have things to work on. Do we really understand the meaning of poise? Not the wringing of your shoulders and posing all over the place but the humility of carrying an outfit with grace, speaking with grace and definition while holding your composure. Who got poise wasn't deserved, career wasn't deserved, Mya took talent to another level and her parents should be proud. However being consistent in all your segments is also a key factor which will allow you to place and that didn't happen last night at all. Life goes on and to know that they all learned a lesson in the heat of competition is important. The hosts needed to be more enlightening but they too were nonchalant, the announcement of royalty was unprofessional as if they were not important. The acoustics in that building needs to be addressed asap as it cripples the sound and those who are not closer to the stage. I would rather take the best in the cultural center and listen to a good show than sit in AC with mumbles n jumbles coming from the stage. Finally politicians stop sponsoring a particular contestant and sponsor the committee to split the funds. ESHS great production!!!

Its the noise of those darn hons make persons cant understand what the contestants are saying. As fr s I know, elected officials o give to the committee on a whole but contestants still go to them for sponsor and if someone is from a particular district, that elected official will give that extra money. That is something that will not change. The seed money that is given is simply not enough.

      @ Qualified

I Agree with you on a few things the caliber of the show and your issue on poise. I was in VIP and thought the sound system sounded better than I heard it at most events held there, but as you said it seems like those further away could not say the same. Sorry, your alone on the Cultural Center issue, I felt like I wanted to faint at The Prince and Princess Show, I'll take the AC and listen intently.

The HORNS are ridiculous! They really really need to address that. Too much of them just kills everything.

Just a few side plugs, congrats to All the Winners. Ms. Pickering was very very graceful in evening wear. Mr. Shaquille stole my Heart, he was too cute and Jovial he just enjoyed himself!! The show was great, if it had less participants a lot of them did well enough to have placed in a shorter show!

never ceases to amaze me the need for these pageants to showcase the exterior of a person instead of quality of human accomplishment. Who cares about evening wear. Are they a good person?

Ayo who complaining about the show being to long, if you have a problem with that then you should just stay your backsides home and wait until the results come out on the news to find out what went on...

The show was too dam long yes!
7:00 AM - 1:30 AM really? Pure madness! We have all right to complain. We paid, so we can voice our opinions! Expected a great show, but nothing long and drawn out. I don't even want to sit in church for 3 hours much less a noisy show with little girls walking all over the place and those darn horns!

Don't get me wrong, the contestants put on a great show, but something needs to be done to ensure that next time it does not go beyond 12 (and that's still late). Perhaps limiting the number of participants, having a pre-segment like Ms. BVI and eliminate me (and Im sure others) from the torture of bad talent pieces. Come on 7 mins..11 contestants...do the maths.

That's exactly what I did. With 11 contestants you had to have had some incline that the show would be hella long. I did and hence I did not go. Let's try being proactive and not reactive people. Lol
