UPDATE: One charged, one released in drug investigations

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - Of the two men arrested in relation to drug offences by the officers of the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force, one was charged and the other was released.

Earl Sylvester, 52, was charged with possession with intent to supply to another 14.44 kilos of cannabis. Sylvester appeared in the Magistrate’s Court today.

His arrest came about as a result of a Police marine operation.

Five arrested following RVIPF investigations
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- On Sunday, a Police operation was conducted as part of an ongoing investigation into drug trafficking within the Territory.

A number of premises were searched and five males were arrested. The men have been interviewed and released without charges. 

Police continue with the investigation.

    It is time to put all ducks in one line. Get rid of all those criminals from the top to the bottom, and we will be able to breathe in Peace. Make the Law work for all.

    No little country could deal with the drug and illegal arms trade by itself
