LONG TRENCH, Tortola, VI- The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) say they have found nothing suspicious so far in their investigations into the death of 38 year old Jamaica national Tracy Forbes.

Forbes was found unresponsive at her home in Long Trench, Tortola on Easter morning, Monday March 28, 2016.

"Nothing so far in the investigations indicates that the death is suspicious, however, a postmortem will to be conducted to determine the cause of death," a police press release on March 29, 2016 stated.

"Inquiries indicate that the deceased had gone to sleep after midnight but was unresponsive around 3am to her boyfriend’s attempts to wake her. Upon further examination he noticed she was not breathing and immediately called for assistance from neighbours. She was later pronounced dead at the scene," the press release added.

Meanwhile, Jamaicans in the Virgin Islands and back home have been expressing on social network their shock on learning of Forbes' sudden death.

The woman reportedly leaves behind three children, including a toddler.

This lady just died. A child, brother, sister, mother, father, aunt and other close relatives, not forgetting friends or even persons who only knew this young lady by visiting her work place are mourning and here we are seemly making jokes or Political statements about her sudden passing. Could we please be a bit more sensitive? My condolences to her loved ones.
