If the Police and the Government stop interfering when parents are whipping / disciplining / correcting their children. from young It wouldn`t come to this. They use to blame the home whipping for their anger, now they are not being whipped. Who are they blaming now.?
    • Charley (25/09/2015, 09:43) Like (40) Dislike (7) Reply
@Blame Game: I don't quite agree with your logic, though I agree simple flogging should be a part of a child's punishment for wrong doing in some instances. On another note I believe that some parents confuse love when it comes to their children. They prefer to shower them with material things rather than teaching them right from wrong. I also believe that Biblical teaching is the foundation of raising children, especially in today's world. I have no doubt that having Chiristinan parents who live according to the Bible will raise children the way they are to be raised which is following God's Commandments.

I guess you are a parent and that is the problem with us when our children/child display certain anti-social behaviors we shift the blame from ourselves to someone else..its the Government..no its the Police...the teachers are resposible. The truth we are the first person(s) our children interact with for their formative days by the time they reach the attention of the Government, Police, teachers etc they have already develop the traits we taught them whether they are bad or good. Some parents try their very best to bring their children up in the right way but they have a mind of their own and sometimes they are influence by friend and others who came from certain homes. As parents we aught to be role models. Children learn our behavior. If we are disrectful to others and authority our children is likely to do the same. Let us stop blaming others and find solutions to deal with our own issues. I have personally seen children who came from homes where there are physical and other abuses, drug and alcohol use and crimes become productive and responsible citizens while others who grow up in respectable families go the opposite direction. Again let us stop blaming others and look deep within ourselves. We may be resposible for what is happening to our kids today.

That might be the warning shot as the latest victim in SKN had warning shots too and where is he today? Some parents are aware of their children activities and encourage such. For some as long as the money is coming they don't mind. Some talk and boast too much and some work and shoot with their mouths shut. Parents talk to your children and encourage them on the right track of life

Earlier this year, another man's picture was posted with that same building structure in the background and also smiling. Sad thing is that man is dead and this one was speared. The proprietor also lost a son some year ago, and had one seriously injured in an accident. Another family member was shot at during a chase and numerous vessels were burnt belong to them. Lord knows what else happened that we are unaware of but I'm just sipping my tea. Keep the foolishness up.

Lolol lord you sound like a born fool, just like the rest. When you don't have much sense is a terrible thing. Why would anybody be jealous of somebody who can't even walk the street without looking over they shoulder wondering who coming to KILL them...you must be mad! This isn't the first time for that boy, this time they cetch him but not in the way they wanted. What exactly does that tell you dummy? Aint that they will come again another time when he least expect & maybe then you would be preparing to wear your black, my God you ppl are foolish. All the boat, bike & cars ppl buying & flaunting end of the day they can't fully enjoy none nor rest comfortably with themselves. Who wants that type of life? Maybe you and the rest of these hooligans round the place.

I want to work for an honest dollar like I currently doing & live a simple life. I don't have none of what you mentioned and I'm not worried either. Yes I would like to get me a lil vehicle to move around but I'm not about to do nothing illegal to get it. If it means continuing to save up the pennies & loose change I have around the house plus some from my paycheck & eventually a lil loan then so be it. I know I will sleep very comfortable at night knowing nobody planning to end my life over it.

I do not advocate shooting and whoever tried to shoot the guy should be found and punished.

However, just up to yesterday I had several run-ins with this young man on a 4 wheel scooter (don't know the name). Was living quite dangerously, and trying to get drivers in trouble. Hope his parents speak to him and ask him to chill.

By the way why BVI want to be so much like States versus UK? Even the political colors are same as US. We are quickly losing our culture and politics is the reason why? Truly misleading?
