You people love to speculate. The three sentences above only states that this "news site" have the identity of the parents but, no facts or details was given as to what caused the death of the child or what led up to some sort of accident/incident that caused the death of the child. But, here you all go with the Peebles this, Doctors that, and Nurses this. You people are so unintelligent - you are the types of people that cause hysteria. How many times y'all bring dead bodies to the hospital and turn around and blame that health institution? Stop assuming!

Here we go with the speculations....People get a life... The baby was very sick with a non curable disease and he's now out of his suffering. No fault of the hospital, doctors or administration. Stop jumping to conclusion for everything. RIP Jr.....

The narrow minded, ignorant people of Tortola has struck again. No one knows what happen but, quick to throw the Doctors, Nurces and the hospital under the oncoming train. People, please stop playing the blame game. To the parents and family members, you have my heartfelt condolences. Parents, don't explain anything to these nosey people. All they are locking for is something to gossip about.

You hit the right spot. Most of these people talking because they have a mouth. The child has been ailing since birth with something that is very difficult to treat even in places like the USA. Most of hear when some dies at Peebles but they don't know about the many lives they saved under very difficult situations. Look I am not from here but I have travelled and unfortunately had to visit other hospitals across the region including where I am from. Believe me in most if not all of these places the situation is far worst than here. We should be glad we have at least a clean and stench free environment with AC units to start with and you can find medication and the waiting time is far more length. It is not overcrowded. True mistakes are made at Peebles and there is room for improvement but we should be thankful for what we have. To the family my condolences M V. u are a strong woman I know u will get through this one.

if i have a sick child and I can't get help from the present government of the day why elect them.when you go to the social development asking for assistance they want to know your whole life story, before you can get the help you want.that is why i am so glad mines were born in the United States.we take care of our own not neglect them.

Stop being one sided...in the U.S. they ask more information than Tortola..and guess what you SUBMIT it..If the information on your application is false it is denied AUTOMATICALLY for fraud. You people in the BVI need to stop. Go get food stamps...they all in your business....go apply for section 8...they all behind the curtains peeping to ensure who living in the house is on the application...and guess what if your information is false...you get kicked out...or even jail for FRAUD! Your children was born in the U.S. good for you...they still don't have access to FREE care or qualify for medicaid....you will have to submit the same information just like what social development is asking for. So go sit some where...tired of you guys bashing the same system that is helping everyone in a different way..bunch of losers.
