UPDATE: Missing 20 y.o. VIslander found safe

-Family says he is ok but they are reluctant to divulge further details

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – The relatives of 20 year old Virgin Islander Ashley Ritter, who had been reported missing from his home in Orlando Florida, USA, say that he has this afternoon November 13, 2014 been found and reunited with his family.

However, they were reluctant to provide more information or divulge details regarding the circumstances which surrounded his being missing for almost four days.

Orange County Sheriff’s Office in a missing bulletin earlier in the week had said that Ritter was last seen on November 10, 2014 at approximately 9:15 pm.

However this office could not be reached by our reporter as they closed operations at 5:00 PM.

20 y.o. Virgin Islander reported missing in Florida

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – A young man from the Virgin Islands has been reported missing by the authorities in Orlando, Florida, USA after he did not return home or make contact with his family since Monday November 10, 2014.

Reported missing is Ashley Ritter, aged 20 years. His height is given as 6 feet and weight given as 175 pounds.

Orange County Sheriff’s Office in a missing bulletin said that Ritter was last seen on November 10, 2014 at approximately 9:15 pm.

“He was observed riding away from their home located at 8128 Dominguin Street, Orlando Florida. Ashley was wearing a L.A. Lakers hat, a black jacket and dark coloured pants. Ashley has tattoos on each wrist of a barcode. On one wrist he has his own date of birth and on the other wrist he has his mother’s date of birth,” said the bulletin.

“He has the words “LIL” tattooed on the back of one hand and the word “TOOK tattooed on the other. He has a tattoo inside of his right forearm of a music note with a laugh now, cry later face within the music note. He also has the word “J’uqon” tattooed on his right shoulder,” the bulletin said.

“There is now concern for his well-being since Ashley has not been in contact with his family, anyone with information regarding this case is urged to contact the Orange County Sheriff’s Office at 407-836- HELP (4357),” it said.

Relatives of the young man here in the Territory told this news site that they have no new information from the authorities in Florida.
