Franchise holder for Miss World BVI, Mr Damion said a twitter update from the Miss World Organization has Miss BVI among the top five pick for talent.

Miss World BVI Kirtis K. Malone at #6 in People's Choice
- VI encouraged to vote to get her further ahead
As of today September 21, 2013 Miss World BVI Kirtis K. Malone is ranked at number six (6) in the People’s Choice competition which forms part of the Miss World Pageant. Franchise holder of Miss World BVI Mr Damion C. Grange and committee members are continuing their appeal to the Virgin Islands population to log in and vote to get her to number one.
According to Mr Grange, himself and committee members are confident that Ms Malone can make it to number one. “We strongly believe that we can make this happen for our girl. I am appealing to everyone to go to www.missworld.com and download the Miss World App and vote for Miss British Virgin Islands. Please we have every possibility at winning this," stressed Mr Grange.
Ms Malone has been making significant strides in the Miss World pageant thus far. She has wowed the judges with her ‘Halleluiah’ song, which has placed her among the top twelve in the talent segment. In addition she has been a group member of the ‘Yellow’ team which whipped three other teams to win the Sport Challenge. This resulted in her being awarded bonus point that has aided her elevation among the tops thus far.
Grange said government and private sectors can also play a great part. These entities can encourage their staff, customers, friends and families to vote. “This is something that can be accomplished if we all work together let’s do it for Kirtis. She is so looking forward to us standing by her side. We can’t be in Indonesia to shout, scream and cheer her on but we can make her feel that we are by just voting," said Mr Grange.
