LONDON, England, UK - Word just in from the Miss World Contest where the Virgin Islands is being represented has confirmed that Miss Rosanna K. Chichester was among the few selected to speak at a key service today November 23, 2014.

This was further confirmed when this news site made contact with franchise Holder Mr Damion C. Grange who said, "Rosanna was one of the contestants chosen to speak at a Service of Unity held in honour of slain Miss World Honduras Maria Jose and sister Sofia Trinidad."

The contestants of the Miss World took part in the service today at 14:30pm where they acknowledged also the multitude of world faiths, recognizing the diversity of cultures represented at Miss World and the spirit of unity showed ‘year in year out’ by the contestants.

"We will be honouring the life of Maria Jose and Sofia Trinidad Alverado whose life was tragically cut short, causing devastation for her family and friend and denying her the chance of proudly representing her nation at the Miss World finals," the Miss World website said.

Rosanna in her speech today said, "Today as we all stand in solidarity, we not only mourn but we also celebrate Maria and sister Sofia for their courage and legacy of being fellow torch bearers of Beauty with a purpose. I also ask that we use this as an opportunity to stand as a united force against crime and violence especially crimes against women and children."

It has begun for Miss World BVI Rosanna K. Chichester

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – When this news site last communicated with Miss World BVI Ms Rosanna Chichester on November 21, 2014 she was in London not necessarily having a field day but busy at her quest for the crown of Miss World 2014 which she so desires to bring home.

Ms Chichester left the shores of the Virgin Islands (VI) on November 20, 2014 with the blessing and promise of their full support by persons such as  Zoe Walcott-McMillian, Antonio Williams and Jermaine Smith who all play an integral role in ensuring that she was all ready and on point to face the challenges ahead.

She also had the blessing of three other very supportive women: Ms Alicia Hamm, Ms Lynette L. Harrigan and her mother Ms Jennifer Chichester.

She sent her gratitude also to Minister for Education and Culture Honourable Myron V. Walwyn and the management of CCT who are her sponsors.

At last communication Ms World BVI had already taped her official Miss World Intro video shoot and was preparing for the Talent and Dances of the World auditions. “I am expressing gratitude to my family, friends, “glam squad”, Hon. Walwyn, CCT and the entire BVI for their unwavering support,” she said while communicating via social media.

Franchise holder locally Mr Damion C. Grange continues to call on the BVI community to show love and support to our ambassador and asked that everyone download the Miss World app and vote our local girl so that she could come out on top for the multimedia award and earn an automatic spot in the top 10.

There are several other segments that she and her team had been preparing for prior to leave the VI like the Evening Wear which will see her stunningly dressed in a Jermaine Smith-designed piece.

For her talent there will be no surprise to those who would have seen her here as it’s her intention to take her talent piece done at the Miss BVI pageant to an even higher level.

There is the top Fitness segment where she will showcase her physique in the most elegant way as she has been working with Pastor Colin Gunthrope.

In the Miss World Beach Fashion Wear segment, she will be displaying swimwear done by Trefle Designs’ Kristen C. Frazer.

Events started on November 20, 2014 and will go until December 14, 2014.

@Speech and Grammar If you so think that you can do so much better at posting updates each day and always be so grammatically correct why don't you inbox her the correct way to speak? Some of you fools quick to talk when you yourself don't even know how to construct a proper sentence.
