Man found dead in Fort Burt Hotel ID as Yeiral Batista Sena

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Via our reliable sources within the security sector of the Virgin Islands, this news site was able to confirm that the body of a male found in a hotel room is that of a citizen of the Dominican Republic, Yeiral Batista Sena.

Prior to his death he was a resident of the US Virgin Islands.

While the Public Relations Department of the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) declined to release the name of the hotel, Virgin Islands News Online did confirm it to have been the Fort Burt Hotel based on information.

In the release by the RVIPF on Tuesday July 1, 2014 it was stated that the body was discovered about 16:38hrs. However when this news site moved on information received and visited the Fort Burt Hotel sometime after 8:00pm police officers and coroners were still on the scene preparing to remove the body.

However a man professing to be the owner of the hotel debarred this news site from gathering any information on the property at the time.

Further follow up indicated that Batista was found dead by a room attendant who is still traumatized by the discovery. This news site understands also that at least one male person is being questioned and foul play has not been ruled out.

Ayo forgot about the Sheek who came from all the way Saudi Arabia and was found dead at S..ub Island? What became of that??? NO BODY KNOWS!!!

The thing is this, BVI has now been identified as a place for a lot of unsolved murder cases and this one like the many others will be swept under the table.

So my high alert to everyone is watch your surroundings.

Most places have unsolved murders. THe bigger islands average like 500- 800 hundred murders a year and most of them are unsolved. But because the BVI POP is small its noted.

@Solve STOP talking p..s. BVI per ratio have the most unsolved cases in the history of the Caribbean so check your stats.

This place is now at this stage, "kill or be killed."

        Worst than the middle east.

I really think that the security system in hotels here are very slack. sometime ago a friend from my country came here for a Workshop, It to the hotel in the night to look for him. To my surprise I went there and ask for him the lady don"t even ask me my name, I don"t think she knows me and I don't know her I could remember sharing this with my friends i said to them this is real craziness. Suppose it was someone who was trying to do something to him.

So what is the difference if you had call by telephone and ask if a guest by the name of so and so is at the hotel would they have not tell you yes or no. Its a hotel not a prison. The young lady probably looked at you used judgement and allowed you to see the guest.

I am sure if you had looked like a crack head or trouble of some sorts she would have denied you access. We here sometimes like to be judgmental and simple mined about every little thing.

This is craziness under no cercumstances you give out guest info to any one you ask the person to wait and you call the room to see if the guest know the person and if the guest would like to see this person thank you ..

This is a serious topic, but your post made me howl with laughter. FOWL play? He must have been killed by the roving gang of murderous chickens. I understand that the sneaky swine gang are happy that the pressure has been taken of them not to mention the Bovine bandits.

Fun and jokes aside -for future reference i humbly suggest that it is FOUL play

Aren't there cameras set up? If so then they should have captured anyone going in & out of the room if that's the case. Also no one seems to have heard the shot either which suggests that a silencer was used. This whole incident reeks. It says he overnight to fly out the nxt day but died the same night? by a gunshot? who knew him and knew he would be here? did he wrong somebody & this is/was payback? Everything about this is wrong.
