ESHS closed for morning shift, Authorities cite weather

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI: VINO has been reliably informed that situations at the Elmore Stoutt High School have led to the temporary closure of the morning shift period due to the impending weather.

Via a Facebook post on October 12, 2018, The Government of the Virgin Islands said that they are closing the school for the day’s morning shift with more information to come on the afternoon period.

Bad situations

According to sources, the situation is that a section of the school is usually facilitated under tents in the yard of a temporary building and whenever it rains, everyone has to be cramped into the building for shelter.

Those situations cause extreme congestion and we understand from teachers who asked not to be named that things become very chaotic where systems break down such as the air conditioning, overheating in the building and children becoming irritable.

This leads to an environment where learning cannot take place effectively.

The school has been operating on a double shift system since the actual ESHS building was destroyed by the hurricanes in 2017. They are currently at the old Clarence Thomas Building in Pasea Estate, Road Town, Tortola where they operate on a system of 40 minutes for class every period.

So sick of you damn non stop diarrhea of the mouth people always talking S**t. Anywhere outside Tortola, a lot of you will be walking around without a tongue or mouth for talking so damn much.

Why so defensive? Relax! Someone blog and you get all so irritable? Take care your pressure don't go up. We are in the election climate and there will be more against than for him. It's life! He is a public figure and will be subject to critism. He signed for this so relax.
