UPDATE – Employee found dead at Scrub Island identified

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – The part time employee, who was found dead on Scrub Island Resort on the afternoon of July 16, 2012, has been identified as 50 year-old Archie Stevens.
This news site understands that Stevens was employed at the Waste Management Department for nine years as a Sanitation Officer and lived in Purcell Estate on Tortola.
According to sources, Stevens had also worked on Monday July 16, 2012 at the department.
Meanwhile, when the resort was contacted regarding his death, they had said they were not at liberty to give out any information at this time.
