Folks are always commenting on landlords. I haven't heard any banks offers mortgage breaks, how the heck can a landlord give a break. Get your own houses and stay off landlords. Geez

I with you the bank want theirs and I want mine something called put up for a rainy day any tenant must be able to cover rent for aleast 3 months before they cry out if not you have a choice leave but make that effort so the landlord can work with you remember he or she have a commitment to the bank and when the bank give us a break it's fair for us to pass it on to you the tenant who are struggling. 22 square miles/lots more police and yet robbery after robbery. Some Of these places being robbed are right on the highway not through the bush. It is amazing only after the crime is committed we see a set of police show up

@Testing 22?! That's what they taught you in school?! Go back!!! I was taught 24 square miles but we know it's more now after all the reclaimed land... Anywho the police RARELY if ever patrol in this area. Which shouldn't be because it's has too many vulnerable businesses in the area!

So you expect they will rob in front of the police? They wait til no one looking? The supermarket isn’t paying to have a police presence stationed outside 24-7.

If they were patrolling the coastal road from opposite directions they would have received a dispatch report about the green jeep and would likely have seen it. Or could have deduced which side road it used. They are a waste of tax payer dollars

good statement the lack of patrols is a concern-we had a bank robbery in VG there are 4 major banks in Road Town following that bank robbery in VG there is no substantial presence of the police around the banks-go figure

Let’s turn this off at the source: anyone driving an unmarked vehicle, whether a jeep, car, truck or scooter, gets taken in for questioning, DNA and the works. No one going about lawful business has no ID on their wheels.

Fingers and hands chopped off is more punishment than sitting in jail getting fat off the tax payers dime. Fingers and hands chopped off can’t hold guns or drive get away cars.

It seems that quite a few RVIPF constables, officers and retirees reside in the Sea Cow Bay district and Hannah's close to the E&B convenience store. However these law enforcement individuals only seem to work in the daytime not at night. Perhaps it time to have more police patrolling at night from 6pm to 6am the following day and less working office jobs during the daylight hours.

In some jurisdictions following a major crime one will see law enforcement implicating stop & search in an effort to gather evidence; We had some serious stop and search operations under Commissioner Vernon E Malone now the streets belong to the criminals or bike riders doing all manner of fart on the government highway. Bring back the stop and search operations; if you have nothing to hide you will welcome stop & search. police need to stop waiting on informers and take the bull by the horns and take back the public highway. Cool down to those using public roads to move the dope, the guns, the arm robberies and dumb bike riding

To tell the truth, I’m surprised they don’t have more robberies here in the BVI. Everyone knows no business in the BVI don’t have no guns to protect themselves. Any place else you can protect your business and yourself . Wake up BVI times are changing.
