UPDATE: East End accident victim dies

EAST END, Tortola, VI- Word reaching Virgin Islands News Online is that the woman involved in the double vehicular accident at East End on May 18, 2013 died last night.

According to reliable sources, Patricia Lettsome was rushed to Peebles Hospital last night June 1, 2013 where she later succumbed.

It is not confirmed if Ms Lettsome had a pre-existing condition or had not fully recovered from injuries and trauma from the accident or if that had anything to do with her sudden death.

Two injured in vehicular accident in East End

EAST END, Tortola, VI - Virgin Islands News Online has been informed that at least two persons were rushed to Peebles Hospital following a vehicular accident in East End this morning, May 18, 2013.

According to our team of reporters, the 2-vehicle accident occured shortly after 7 A.M. in the vicinity of the East End Police Station. One of the vehicles ended up in a nearby drain.

The circumstances surrounding the accident are sketchy but this news site was informed that one of the vehicles, a blue truck, was being driven by a male and the other vehicle, a silver grey jeep, by a female. They both are reportedly at the emergency unit at Peebles Hospital. 

It was reported that the drivers were the only occupants of the respective vehicles.

    Probably the Jeep was slowing down to much at the bumps and getting the other driver pissed off so he sped up.

    i am so in disbelief of this.My love and heart goes out to the lettsome &hodge family she was so wonderful to us while going to school or when she saw us throughout the neibourhood we grew up

    R.I.P my FRIEND ! Can't believe you would go like that, it is the same saturday you visit me at work, remember I ran leaving the customer just to get my HUG not knowing it would be my last. You called me two times after you left ,was unable to answer my phone and I put it off saying I would return your call when I got home. It is PAINFUL not getting the LAST WORD!!!!!!!!!!

    SHE LOOK OUT FOR EVERYBODY CHILD OR CHILDREN IN AMPS. WAS A GOOD WOMAN AND MOTHER MONEY OR NOT SHE MADE SURE THE CHILDREN WERE NOT HUNGRY. IF SHE DIDN'T SEE A CHILD COME FOR THEIR FOOD SHE WOULD ASK FOR THEM AND SEND A CHILD TO CALL THEM IF SHE THINK THEY NEEDED A MEAL
