indeed, there are criminals in our midst, but by chosing the code of silence we are part of it, and must learn to accept it and learn to live with it. Or, give them up even though they might be your cousin or relative? We also need to teach our youth how to resolve differences and or conflict without resorting to violence.

I got you on this. People have to start dropping some serious dimes. People out here covering for family members and others they know have committed crimes. Funny but when I"m standing in lines or in crowded places I am always wondering if I am standing next to a killer. Come on man, this place is to small for so many killers to be roaming free.

So much silent talks. Silent meetings. Silent movements just silently killing our community. 60% of our people are 1)to shy or blind to talk about it. 2) not concerned as it haven’t reach their house steps as yet. I wish more public figures, entrepreneurs and other influences be a bit more vocals on the issues yet sadly lots of them are too much of a *****. Congratulations to the ones who’s not afraid to step up talk out both private Secretly and loud when have too. Yet we shouldn’t wait until Violence happened to talk out etc.

COP your stats are misleading about crime being down. Just not arresting enough or solving fast enough! Violent and domestic crimes are on the rise. How many solves vs unsolved homicides have they’re been? I dare you answer that STAT to the public mister Commiish!

That’s cos more of the young men are growing up to believe what they here in songs and from friends that dealing in high grade and baking soda is the way ahead and sorting out enemies by shooting them is cool. How many role models do they have on Island that have made it without dirty money or sidewomen or violence? Without some serious changing of the narrative people grow up with, it’s going to get worse.

These skull and coffin symbols being used as jokes in postings not knowing the effects of the words we speak....llet light and life come forth from your mouths.

Praying God’s divine intervention in the young lady’s life. Bless the hands of the medical team Lord. Speak to Her heart Lord. Praying she hears You Lord and lives out Your plans for her life in Jesus’ name Amen.

The skull and coffin symbols being posted on Facebook are in response to jokes people find funny (replacing LOL).

We have to mindful of what we speak into our lives. It seems like nothing but the thief comes to kill, steal, and destroy.

Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses. Now I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Oh, that you would choose life, so that you and your descendants might live! -

There were actions that lead up to this young man’s demise.

He’s not here because someone pulled the trigger yes but had the preceding actions of his own accord been avoided and had this young man made a choice to set an example for his children, he may have been here today.

We look at someone’s passing as just another day nothing major oh well on to the next day but we must look at the deeper picture and message that we are missing.

Facebook posts the day or days before their death joke about death...show that skull...now her friends still including skull emojis in posts.
