UPDATE: Back to back earthquakes felt in VI
The latest earthquake was felt around 1:43 P.M., according to the Puerto Rico Seismic Network.
The epicenter was located at latitude 18.65, longitude 61.97 or approximately 128 km East North-East of Anguilla at a depth of 43 km. No tsunami watches or warnings were issued for the VI from this event.
The Department of Disaster Management (DDM) has reminded the VI community that we live in a seismically active zone, which makes the Territory vulnerable to earthquakes.
“During an earthquake it is important to stay calm, if you are inside stay there, move away from ceiling fans, glass windows and doors or anything that may fall. Get under a desk or sturdy piece of furniture cover your head and hold on. If outdoors, move into an open area away from trees, building, or utility wires and poles.
During an earthquake the more you move the more likely you are to be hurt, so refrain from entering or exiting a building at the time of the impact,” DDM stated.

11 And there will be great earthquakes in various places, and famines and pestilences; and there will be fearful sights and great signs from heaven
Jesus is warning the world that it is time to repent and turn to him or suffer the consequences if you reject or ignore the warnings
We don't really want to know about earthquakes unless we have to head for the hills. The outrage a few weeks ago wasn't due to us not being properly informed that there was an earthquake, we were mad because we could have all drowned in our sleep not knowing we were in danger.
Please stop panicking the people with innocuous earthquake reports and just get the sirens on the hills fixed so people can go to sleep at night without being afraid that they'd drown because of human carelessness, callousness and greed.
