UPDATE: 2 charged for Capriccio robbery

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Two persons have been charged in relation to the recent robbery at Capriccio di Mare Restaurant, located on Waterfront Drive opposite the Road Town Ferry Dock.

During the robbery, which occurred sometime before 10:00pm on May 14, 2019, a cashier was gun-butted several times and had to be taken to Peebles Hospital. The gunman then made off with cash, said to be from the day's proceedings.

According to the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF), in a press release today, May 22, 2019, Jamoy Estridge, 27 of Long Bay was charged with robbery as well as possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life while Oran Glasgow, 23 of Carrot Bay was charged with robbery, following investigations into the robbery.

They were remanded into custody at Her Majesty’s Prison for their appearance at the Magistrate’s Court on July 15, 2019.

Police are continuing to urge members of the general public who may have information pertaining to any investigation to call the three-digit access number 311 or the Intelligence Unit directly at 368-9339.

Long Bay resident charged for robbery; firearm possession

A 27-year-old male of Long Bay, on the main island of Tortola, has been arrested and charged by police for Robbery and Possession of a Firearm with intent to Endanger Life.

According to the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF), in its Arrest Blotter released today, May 22, 2019, Jamoy Estridge was arrested and charged on May 17, 2019.

He appeared before the Magistrate’s Court and was remanded to Her Majesty’s Prison to reappear on July 15, 2019.

Another charged for robbery

Meanwhile, Police on May 17, 2019 also arrested and charged Oran Glasgow, of Carrot Bay, for Robbery. He appeared before the Magistrate’s Court and was remanded to Her Majesty’s Prison to reappear on July 15, 2019.

Assault Occasioning Actual Bodily Harm

On May 12, 2019 at 11:30am, Police arrested and charged T’Quan Bodkin,18, of Purcell Estate for Assault Occasioning Actual Bodily Harm. He was granted bail in the amount of $3,000.00 with one signed surety to appear at the Magistrate’s Court on July 10, 2019.

On the same day and time, police also arrested and charged J’Quan Bodkin, 18, of Huntums Ghut for Assault Occasioning Actual Bodily Harm. He was granted bail in the amount of $10,000.00 with one signed surety to appear at the Magistrate’s Court on July 10, 2019.

Inflicting Grievous Bodily Harm

On May 18, 2019 at 16:01pm, Police arrested and charged Morris Huggins, 39, of Millionaire Street, Virgin Gorda for Inflicting Grievous Bodily Harm and Armed with an Offensive Weapon. He appeared before the Magistrate’s Court and was remanded to Her Majesty’s Prison to reappear on May 23, 2019 at 09:00am.

Theft

On May 14, 2019 at 11:30am, Police arrested and charged Akeem Hull, 32, of West End for Theft. He appeared before the Magistrate’s Court and was remanded to Her Majesty’s Prison to reappear on June 27, 2019 at 09:00am.

Breach of Protection Order

On May 18, 2019 at 07:14am, Police arrested and charged Raheem Hodge, 18, of Little Dix Hill for Breach of Protection Order. He appeared before the Magistrate’s Court and was remanded to Her Majesty’s Prison to reappear on July 10, 2019 at 09:00am.

        He maybe on the list but he did not grow up carrot bay and he only started living carrot bay a few months ago, he do not even lime or be seen in carrot bay, so there is not ownership to be taken of any bad eggs.
