What is really wrong with these youths, is everything got to resort to violence against one another. My heart aches everytime i Hear something like this in the news. Why dont the cinema have metal detectors installed? It has the latest of everything else but the one thing that gonna detect weapons from entering the building, it dont have it hmmm, come on owner you need to do your part to safe guard your property cause remember families take their small kids to the movies too and if things like this is happening, u Will lose alot of customers because of it.

I totally agree with you. So much crime does happen around this cinema and the owner of this place does not even seem to care. That is one reason I dont even waste my money to go round that place. It seems like demons are just congregating around that place just waiting to pounce.

The owner of Up's Cineplex need better security measures in place. The need to Install metal detectors and every point of entrance into the facility.History always repeats it self. For a new modern Facility to not have these Security measures in place.Just like in the early 80's and 90's when you had up stairs bobby's very nice place for those of you who can relate.by carelessness we lost that, are we going to make the same mistake once again with this new Cineplex.

It is so typical to blame anyone other than those responsible. For heaven's sake, just once will people start looking in the mirror and correctly identifying the problem? WE are each responsible for our own behaviour! PARENTS are responsible for instilling proper morals and proper behaviour in their children and seeing to it that they are exactly where they should be at 2:30 in the morning! If they are over 21 and living outside of the parental home, then obviously it is too late for the parents to put the situation right. But if they are grown people and still living under the parent's roof, then a curfew is in order. My children are not allowed out after 11:00 p.m. and I don't care how old they are. If they are living under my roof, they are at home by 11:00 unless they have received special permission from both me and their mother. End of story. Yes, I think Elton should have security guards and even police on duty anytime an event goes past 11:00 at night. 11:00 seems to be when the young people (looking for trouble) go out. I don't hold Elton responsible for the violent behaviour of our youths ~ that I blame on bad parenting alone. Too many of us have shirked our parental duties and society at large is now paying the price for their laziness. It is time for governmental intervention and in my opinion, the curfew law can't come soon enough! Arrest them, charge them and give them their day in court. If they must spend time in jail so that they can learn to control themselves and act like human beings instead of animals, then so be it.
