Two injured in head-on vehicle collision in Sea Cows Bay

SEA COWS BAY, Tortola, VI – News just reaching Virgin Islands News Online from one of our reliable sources is that two persons were reportedly injured after a head-on vehicle collision in Sea Cows Bay around 7:30pm today, September 21, 2012.

The accident reportedly occurred in the vicinity of Pieces of Eight, which is just adrift of Mark Simmonds Marina. 

The collision reportedly resulted in both parties suffering injuries and the two vehicles involved, one of which bore license plate PV25615, were also extensively damaged. It was reported that airbags were deployed in the vehicles as a result of the severity of impact.

One of the injured is reportedly known as “Selassie” while the other is referred to as “China Man”. Both were reportedly taken to Peebles Hospital by ambulance.

Fire and Rescue, in addition to Police, were also reportedly on the scene.

    Why it always have accidents down that area and a head-on collision at that. With so much corner hope somebody wasnt overtaking. They lucky their lives got spared.
