FREE BOTTOM, Tortola, VI - Sometime after 11:00 am this morning Tuesday, December 11, 2018, a concert truck belonging to the Skelton Group of Companies, overturned in the area of Free Bottom on the main island of Tortola.

One driver was trapped in the truck, but with the help of onlookers, Fire and Rescue Services and Skelton workers, the man was brought to safety.

The concert truck sustained damages, however, it is unclear, if the driver received any injuries, or what caused the accident.

There are no statistics on the rate of heavy equipment accidents or death and injuries caused by such in the Virgin Islands.

    If he was driving like a bat outta hell earlier the day...hmmm. Anyways thank God he is ok. These truck drivers need drive with due care on the roads. Some of them does drive like they in a damn drag race even those carrying debris and other material.
