ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Special shopping deals, extended shopping hours, traditional Christmas dining, Children’s Christmas party, and 12 days of non-stop musical entertainment are some of the events rolled out for the Tortola Pier Park’s 12 Days of Christmas.

The Christmas tree lighting and entertainment by saxaphonist Kamau A. Georges and the Two Smooth Band on Tuesday December 13, 2016, signalled the first day of Christmas; and Leasing and Marketing Manager at the Tortola Pier Park (TPP), Meslyn M. Allan has extended an open invitation to all to come join the fun.

TPP’s first Christmas

“It’s officially our first Christmas, our official opening was February 16th so our anniversary is coming up so we wanted to do something special and of course we wanted to create that environment, that Christmas feel for locals, cruise passengers and overnight visitors alike to come and experience the park,” she said.

“We definitely encourage everyone to come out and experience what we have to offer. I mean this is the place to be for Christmas if you ask me, it’s really exciting.”

Close to sixty stores on the TPP compound will be operational and offering special Christmas discounts, and she informed that these stores have partnered with the management of the park to make the series of events a reality.

The marketing of that place is almost non-existent. Its so sad because it has so much potential but need qualified people involved to make it work.

They sit upstairs in their office thinking they look pretty and are above talking with the normal people in society.

The Opposition must be relentless in their pursuit of truth, transparency and honesty from the NDP government over that $100M ports project.

Christmas begins on Christmas Day, the 12 days following thereafter. One more piece of evidence to demonstrate that this is not a Christian but a secular society. May God help us know His truth.
