Tourist dies at Devil’s Bay

Devil's Bay is located near The Baths.
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – A tourist, who was a guest at Little Dix Resort, reportedly died while swimming this morning, Monday December 12, 2011 in the vicinity of Devil’s Bay in Virgin Gorda.

The individual is said to be a male American citizen.

According to reports reaching Virgin Islands News Online, the man and his wife were swimming when he complained of feeling unwell. The couple then started to swim to shore but subsequently the wife noticed that her husband was not keeping up. The man was pulled to shore in an unconscious state and another tourist, who claimed to be a doctor administered CPR but to no avail.

The Virgin Islands Search and Rescue (VISAR) and Police were also summoned to the scene.

      What don't you understand...the man did not drown, he just was not feeling well. Another thing nobody knows where they will die. That was his destiny, right here in the BVI.
