ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – LIME BVI announced yesterday November 16, 2015 the appointment of Mr Tim Ringsdore as their new Country Manager for the VI, replacing Sean L. Auguste as the company continues its march towards restructuring.

This is according to a LIME BVI internal correspondence seen by this news site in which the Head of Human Resources, Northern Cluster, Patricia Blaize made the announcement.

The Northern Cluster includes Anguilla, the VI, St Kitts, Montserrat and Turks and Caicos Islands.

“I am pleased to introduce to you our newly appointed Country Manager, Mr Tim Ringsdore,” said Ms Blaize.

“Tim joins us from Jersey Telecom (JT), based in the Channel Islands where his last role was Chief Relationship officer for the JT Group. He worked for JT for over 15 years and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience of Telecommunications and customer experience to the business,” she said in the correspondence.

Prior to JT, Tim worked in Television for over 24 years where he travelled to many parts of the world, including the Caribbean.

“I've had the pleasure of interacting with Tim and he is truly engaging,” said Ms Blaize.

She said Ringsdore’s expected arrival in the VI is slated for November 23, 2015 “and he has already reached out to me to plan an all colleague outing at Smugglers Cove to interact with each of us and our families. Coming from a small island himself, he understands the importance of close relations and family support.”

“The exact date and time of our all colleague outing will be communicated once finalised. Please join me in welcoming Tim to the Cable & Wireless family and more importantly, to our beautiful British Virgin Islands,” she said.

This news site accurately reported on a shake up at LIME BVI which saw the removal of Auguste as General Manager. His last day on the job was August 30, 2015.

Virgin Islands News Online had also reported that LIME’s Head of Business Sales and Services Mr Ken Guiste would have been next to go.

Mr Guiste's last day on the job was September 30, 2015. According to this news site’s sources close to the situation, LIME had made his job redundant. In fact, they have made the Head of Sales post redundant throughout the region.

“Cable and Wireless has decided to remove the Head of Sales role from the region and so that has included myself,” Mr Guiste told Virgin Islands News Online when reached on September 19, 2015.

All I want is good customer service and for my bill to stop jumping higher every month although I hardly use my phone plan! I'm sure other customers would also agree.

The big problem with lime is local workers.. They rude_, their service poor, they hot tempered.. When a foriegm manager try to straighten them out and pull them up. They run to labour crying.. I think s serious local is better to manage lime... Lime had lots of problems. It can rise to the top again.. Hire good personality people.

C & W, BMOBILE & LIME are all full of it. For YEARS their service has been POOR and they have made no serious attempt to better their customer service. Some of their Managers are no better when it comes to service....I often what is the purpose of having those Retail Managers and the others who offer the customers no proper customer service??

I once called Mr Auguste to report a Lime employee who had parked the Lime vehicle blocking the ramp at a busy supermarket and then was very rude to a woman with a stroller who politely asked him to back up. The employee glared at the woman and slowly reversed. I took a pic of him and sent it to Mr Auguste. I realized that it really doesn't matter who is at the helm of Lime BVI as it is over run with rude, don't-care, brazen, lazy, entitled people from all different countries. Back in February I went in to update my plan but the lady told me that she would lose her job if she offered me a previous plan. In speaking to Mr Auguste he was stunned at her outright lie! Turns out Lime was bringing out new plans about 2 months later but the lady lied about "losing her job". Last month I was at the counter and another young lady was on her computer while attending to me so when she realised I had stopped speaking she looked up annoyed... "go ahead" and I said "no I prefer to wait until you're finished", she then scowled and reluctantly attended to me. So please, let's not kid ourselves about the new manager or the new company Liberty. Unless most of the dead weight in Lime is removed, it will be same rudeness, different day. I do like the security guard though - always pleasant, and a few ladies in the back office but in general the employees in the office are horrid.
